Freedive Buoy / Float Setups
A great float for freediving!

The hull of this float is based on the well proven Wonka-design and is made of canvas (top) and mesh (bottom). The mesh allows the water to flow in and out of the float freely, which makes it “sit” in the water, rather than float at the surface. Trying to tip the float over makes the water flow through the float. This creates a lot of drag against the tipping momentum, which makes the float very stable to work with.
When you take the float out of the water, the water flows out of it immediately. With an 15″ inner tube, the float has an ideal diameter of ca. 70 cm, so you can always see the eyes of your dive buddy across the float, while the float is still easy to transport. It’s signal-orange colour attracts the attention of approaching boat captains. Last but not least, the strap that runs around the float is strong enough to tow a truck, which makes the float unbreakable and you will never loose the rope or even a bottom weight.
The assembled „Ready to Freedive“ Package (Lanyard-stopper not included)
The “Ready to Freedive” is a complete setup with 42 m / 8 mm rope to teach and train to a depth of 40 m. It also comes with 10 meters of tethering line to hook up to moorings, buoys or boats. We use marine-grade stainless steel carabiners and snap hooks. The 8 mm static rope (AIDA recommended) completes your setup. This setup is only available directly at our shop on Gili Air.

Octopus Freedive Lanyard
The Octopus Lanyard is a Swiss Design and Product.
It is compulsory to use a lanyard in open water sessions of all advanced and master freediver courses, such as AIDA3, AIDA4, PADI Advanced, PADI Master, Master Student Program and Instructor Course.

Stretchy Weight Belt
A freedive weight belt is worn on the hips so it doesn’t move while doing duck dives or interfere with abdominal breathing. Our weight belts are nicely stretchy to do exactly that. In the same time these are made of very durable rubber and the marine grade onyx buckle lasts forever.

Competition Nose Clips
Made of only three marine grade alloy pieces, these 3Divers nose clips are remarkably light weight whilst virtually unbreakable. The ergonomic shape makes them a good fit to the nose, whatever size and shape. Every nose clip comes with a spare set of the newly designed super-slim pads and a necklace.
These noseclips are available in red, blue, gold, silver or green for 610.000 IDR (approx. 45 USD)
The Octopus nose clips are made in Switzerland. And if this doesn’t say it all yet, then the unique silicon nose pads and ergonomic shape should convince you. This nose clip comes with a necklace and a ton of freedive competition pedigree.
